More About Be Me Inside-Out

Be Me... Inside-Out is a systemic program for all learners. It is designed to work in a classroom setting, at home, or in small groups.

The students graph their own growth in academics and behavioral goals. Because of the behavior data charts, students become the “Owners of Their Own Stuff.” In the process, students learn WHO they are and what their strengths are, thus are more prepared to make career choices. Dissemination of the lessons provide the students with skills for personal and social growth.  The students develop people skills of acceptance and honor by working individually or in groups.

This Program Works

As told through the voices of children:

I will bring my honesty and pride with me to middle school because thats what I learned.

My favorite part was the Goals, Dreams, and Careers, because it tells me what I want to do when I grow up.

I will bring my anger strategies with me to middle school.

Testing, testing, testing helped me on the AIMS test.

My favorite part is to make my own choices, because now I understand that it is my choice to do drugs and I know I can turn them down.

This book is my survival guide for life, for middle school, high school, and college — because I learned how to make my own choices and ‘Own My Own Stuff.
